We have to wait and see what effect the Hand had on Luke's performance, but at face value Luke didn't impress me there tonight, sorry.....
it was a good learning experience... this is over 3rds ffs... answer me this.. do u think luke would beat doran over 6rds or 8rds... I think going by the final rd of there contest theres only 1 answer to that :good
That's a very good point, maybe the format didn't suit him and of course there is the hand too. But that said I was a bit worried by what appeared to be a lack of an engine in Luke. He just wasn't convincing. He didn't look to be as fit as the others too. He took long breathers, showboated etc as if he has just thrown 30-punch combos, whereas in reality his activity level was poor. Look at Renda...he worked like a demon and took no breaks. Look at Doran ....worked 3 minutes of every round...they all did really even the first round losers. Hope he can still come good, but based on what I saw there I doubt it.
as I said it was a learning experience... he will come back better.. but he needs to concentrate on boxing and his conditioning... and stop loading up all the time:good
Maybe I'm being a bit premature. I'm just very disappointed. Hope you are right and he comes back better. :thumbsup
