Two tips: 1. Dont go round with earphones on, blaring music, oblivious, like your colleagues round my way do. Its asking for trouble. 2. Invest in a few dog biscuits/treats - soon the fanged fiends will be your best furry friends! Dogs are great. Its the 2-legged a-holes who put letterboxes at the bottom of doors that are your real enemies! Back-wreckers! :thumbsup
^ Unlikely - Chavez has outgrown Macklin, and is stuck in limbo, unable to make 160, probably even 168. As a result he has lost his main advantage - size. Did you see how flabby around the middle Matt was in his last outing, at I think 11 - 11? Whats that about 165? No way is Matt a supermiddle. Also Mack would need strict re-hydration clauses in any contract too... Tempting, but not a runner for me anyway...... Its an awful shame Matt mised out on the likes of Barker, Geale,Sylvestre, Zbik...etc all beatable by him IMO. Now his only chance is to stay fighting little and often - if he is prepared to do this - and hope someone like Cotto/Geale or Lee gives him a shot. Even then he is not guaranteed success. Dont get me wrong a peak Macklin would have chewed Andy up. Cotto too. Luck is soooo important...
That Americans haven't got a clue. That millions of them think they're Irish and they are not. That the size of the "Irish-America" is overstated. There are way more Germans and English over there than there are Irish. But we never hear anything about those. As well as millions of Welsh Americans and Scottish Americans.
Not really. The whole world saw the way Collins ran from Calzaghe. Wales are better at all sports than Ireland. With half the population.
Rugby, boxing. Even football now. Collins was scared of getting his ar$e whipped by Joe so he ditched his belt and ran home a week before the fight. I've been watching boxing for 23 years and I've never seen anything like that again. Shameful.
Be honest about this: Were you watching boxing when Collins ducked Joe? The answer is no. It was nothing at all like Froch v Degale. Collins and Calzaghe had signed to fight each other. They had done their training camps. The fight was ONE WEEK AWAY. Collins then pulled out because he was scared. If you were watching boxing at that time then you'd know this. And as for rugby, Wales kicked Ireland's ar$e this year. Knocked you out of the world cup, too. :deal
Why the **** would Collins be afraid of some unknown at the time ? Calazaghe was the biggest bottler in boxing the last 20 years anyway, never fought any decent opposition until Kessler and that was it really, Hopkins was probably the only other decent win he had . We dont even compare at boxing. Irelands amateurs and pros are much better at the minute. When was the last time Wales qualified for a tournament ? Have they ever ?
He pulled out because he collapsed in training. And as for rugby, who gives a **** whether Wales won an individual game. WBA beat Chelsea in the league, does that make them a better team than Chelsea? Ireland are 6 nations champions 2 years running. Now deal with that.
You are aware that Wales is the most successful rugby nation in the 6 Nations throughout history, aren't you? (Including the 5 Nations and Home Nations before it became the 6 Nations). Wales has won that tournament more than England and France, let alone lowly Ireland. Ireland has also never made it past the Quarter Final at any world cup. Ireland are minnows. Collins $hat the bed the week before he was due to fight Joe. He bottled it. Do yourself a favour and admit that.
Course he did :good I would have collapsed if I was him too. He was in for a hiding and he bottled it.
Unlike Calzaghe, Collins didnt spend his life encamped near his home fighting subpar opposition. Collins actually travelled and fought world class fighters his whole career. Collins never showed himself to be afraid, but try getting Joe on a plane to America to fight the big names....You'd have more luck getting B.A. Barachus on a plane. Collins actually tried to get a RJJ fight, and you think he was afraid of a green Calslappy? Give me a break.
Wales have won it 26 times, as have England. But back in the day they didn't have points difference winners, they used to share titles if they had won the same number of games. Wales has 12 additional shared wins, England has 10. Wales have therefore won it 2 more times. It's a bit surprising too how Ireland only have 2 Grand Slams. Wales has 11. Odd that, isn't it?
