Fair enough..:good. Curtis is very limited though - Spike has a bit more about him IMO. A real threat to Andy.
Stevens would be a great fight for Spike. Very tough. Stevens is also the only man to have beaten Tureano Johnson (the guy Spike was initially going to fight when he signed with Murphy's Boxing) Vera-Spike would've been a decent clash too, pity he's already signed up to fight Fielding As an interesting aside, Big Knockout Boxing were apparently interested in Spike a few months ago and Stevens fought in the last edition (Drew with Gabe Rosado, I had Stevens winning) - although I don't think Spike would need the smaller BKB ring to encourage a fight, it would be toe-to-toe from minute 1
Can you now... :yep Collins says it was a "foot injury"... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQokfNH8UHs I can confirm, however, that he ran scared. As the above video is clearly evident of.
Steve being naughty there. Not keen to admit to a possible head injury I guess....no doubt he has an agenda. A bit like yourself. Many people witnessed the whole incident at the time, including if I recall Jimmy Tibbs who was training him for the Calzaghe fight ...etc. Steve collapsed sparring. Widely reported at the time.
Collapsed my ar$e. Feel free to provide evidence of that. Here, for example, is an article from the time in which Collins says that he's pulling out because it's a "bridge too far" and not big enough fight for him (this is less than 2 weeks before a fight he's been training for): http://www.irishtimes.com/sport/collins-walks-out-on-calzaghe-bout-1.97176
Easy call, spike will be judged when he steps up a few levels, untill then don't be getting carried away, and don't be insulting my WORLD CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!
ooooooooh! Baby!! I bet Spike is licking his lips at the thought of those gaping holes in Andys defence. You could drive a bus through Andys defence. At least Spike can keep his hands up. With Spikes power baby, Andy is in grave danger...:bbb
Well Ronnie Davies (you know who HE is right?) was training Eastman at the time. Maybe you'd take his word for it?
You're the one interested mate. Go look it up. Call me suspicious but you say youve been following boxing for 23 years? And now, after all that time, you suddenly develop a bee in your bonnet about an ancient-history non-event like Collins-Calzaghe? So much so that you fixate on trolling the Irish forum about it? Where were you all along? Very suspect...Hmmmm......
No link then? No proof. Just your word for it. I'll take that as an admittance of defeat. Thanks. Yes, I have followed since 1992. Last 10 years I have gone off it though as it's become ****. Starting to warm to it a little more of late, but the love has died sadly. Boxing does that to many after a while and many people I used to take on chat boards with (late 90s - 2005) are no longer fans either. And we were all utter fanatics for years. Shame. Regarding bringing up Collins ducking Calzaghe... it has come to light as Froch is being accused of ducking Degale. This also brings up Calzaghe ducking Froch. However, the only person in that whole chain who ever ducked anyone is Collins.
I dont blame you for going off it. With todays 'stars' fighting once or twice a year its a wonder boxing has any fans left. As for Welsh boxing :-(. Some small consolation is the massive success Irish boxing is enjoying.
