Good stuff, Luke. Dont let the grass grow under your feet. Kids are important, sure - but boxing is WAY more important. Look at it this way - kids cost you money and boxing makes you money!!

Do push on now and dont let fellas like Quigley steal your place in the limelight. :deal :thumbsup
Oh, one more thing - get an answer out of that baldy Cork hoor Spike as to whether he will be on the Limerick bill.....we need to know......:good

Nolan is a complete animal right now, he gets the two best fighters in his first two fights and knocks them both out:lol: they threw him in the fire and he doesn't think its hot enough, keep this up and the gold his. Fair play to him he always seems to get knocked out on very close decisions, im delighted for him

O'Neill was unlucky not to beat Tishchenko, which is ridiculous because O'Neill is a 75kg fighter who doesn't take boxing as seriously as he used to and is now at 91kg and arguably beating one of the best in the world

Walsh imo should qualify for the world here, ward is on fire too

In fairness O'Neill grew out of 75kg, still amazing that he is competitive at 91kg though

Unreal! He jumped Joe Ward's division-not a bad idea! BTW Joe won handily.

he didn't really outgrow it did he? didn't he move up after Quigley beat him? and I doubt he goes to the hassle of geeting down to 75kg anymore

He went to 81kg for a while then moved up at this years Seniors to 91kg he put on some muscle it looks like and he is fairly quick with his hands and feet for a 91kg fighter, reckon he has a good chance to qualify for the Olympics next year .

Conlon followed by Walsh in the first session, then Nolan followed by Ward in the later session.
