To be fair Marty has a point here Dutchie. every boxer cant be a World Champion. Provided he isnt taking too much punishment, and can make a basic living without huge risk, I dont feel entirely comfortable about 'forcing' a guy to retire.....:good
Anybody got any idea what Frampton is doing about his next fight? By now there should have been a fight organised, his next defence. Why is he so inactive? This could mean they are working on something big, like Quigg or LSC, but even so what about a warm-up to stay sharp? Frampton has never satisfactorally explained why he refuses the offer(s) to fight Quigg. For his own sake - and his fans - he needs to get a move on. He is wasting his prime in inactivity, and surely his last fight will have taught him just how precarions the position of a top pro is in this game. Anything can happen to himself or Quigg at any time and scupper their big fight. Get a move on Carl!
I sure hope so Fra. That would be his mando defense, hopefully, and then he is free to fight Quigg or LSC or whoever. Carl is a once-in-a-generation talent and its such a shame that he is so bloody inactive. By now at least one of Carl-Quigg and Carl-LSC ought to have happened, if not both.
I see Tony Davit is running another redcow show 6th November day before MGM show. Guys like him deserve a lot of credit , running shows to keep fighters busy and always at a loss and with very little thanks! Hopefully couple of his fighters can get the breaks and a return on his investment in them 👍
Anyone else think Jamie Kavanagh sounds a bit punchie? http://www.irish-boxing.com/video-jamie-kavanagh-wants-to-fight-ormond-in-the-02-in-the-new-year/
