Well he aint here now Marty.
You'd think with all the local and national radio stations TV etc that there would be no shortage of outlets for guys to publicise themselves these days. But they dont seem to make much of an effort at all.
Frampton is world champion - yet he has to go to England for the biggest fight of his career! Why? Cos he never took off as a 32-county star over here on the island of Ireland. That fight could easily have tahen place in an Irish venue. Now he, the champion, has to go to his challengers country. That sucks.

Andy Lee failed to sell in Limerick - In Limerick!

These guys could learn a lot from people like Conor McGregor etc.

Keep your ear to the ground for us, you have the local knowledge Fra. You might be reading too much into it this time, but I did notice Frampton looking very lean and tired in a recent ifilm interview and I suspect he is training hard..... so...interesting...hmmmm

Read an interview today where Andy Lee stated he still didnt have a date for BJS, but said he wants to be out before the end of the year so if they cant give him a solid date he will request permission to take a voluntary defense,

Its tough on Andy alright - he is stewing doing nothing, not making money etc. Mind you he wasnt entirely on the level with his fans all along, was he? Saying the Limerick fight was cancelled due to him having a virus....naughty naughty Andy.

Lets hope he can squeeze in a Spike fight.

Why have you heard it wasnt a virus?
apart from irish begrudgary that is?
Once again spike isnt in the wbo top 15 so cant be used as a voluntary defence,
Would love to see a soft defence in dublin for december though,

I would have Eubank as a slight favourite for this one,

Good stuff, would have Eubank as strong favourite, but if spike wins then he will be entitled to a crack at Andy for a title when he beats BJS.
