I know savon has beat tishenko in the past... but I was going on there semi final performances... savon looked to be struggling with the pace, made hard work of it... in some ways a bit like ward in that both boxers are bursting with talent and ability but maybe not training as hard as they use to...and its starting to show in there performances...just a thought:think:good
Others who could spring a surprise: 52 - Myers 60kg - Cully, Bates 64kg - Joyce 69kg - Hynes, Crocker
I completely agree about Cully!! Which Joyce is that for 64kg? I reckon Wayne Kelly could be the man now that he's down to 64kg!
joyce has now moved to 2/5 ..... so there must be a lot of money going on yoka.... any1 views on the semis Tony Yoka Joe Ward Ivan Dychko Yosbany Veitia Mohammed Rabii I fancy these five to win at least:good
75kg Outright Wednesday 14th October 2015, 17:00 To Win Gold Hide Arlen Lopez 1/4 Bektemir Melikuziev 5/2 Above from PP. Maybe LaCruz as a semi winner?
lads what time is Joe Ward in the ring this eve? RTE have coverage I see but will it be highlights at 7pm?
Fair play. delighted for Joe to get his olympic spot, he can enjoy the final now. La Cruz is a formidable opponent, but you never know on the day. Wouldn't it be something else to have a couple of Senior Mens amateur world champions
Anybody watch the Joyce-Yoka fight? A lot of the Brits and Richie Woodhall claiming robbery, I don't think it was.
I watched it , yoka took the first easy in the 2nd ,woodall and his cheerleading sidekick kept raving on about how hurt yoka was, well even when he was supposibly hurt he was still landing the better cleaner shots. 2nd to yoka. I gave the 3rd to joyce. I hate when people cry robbery when its not and its not like rchie woodall to do it his very honest. but sometimes when its the gb guys in there he gets carried away joyces work was sloppy and ineffective, yoka showed good movement the better punch variety and the cleaner shots
