I think Duddy v Vera is pretty much dead, at least if it involves the McLoughlin brothers or Irish Ropes it is.

Too bad, I hope he looks great against Vanda, but Vera would have been a great test. He's as tough as they come, If J.D. could beat him, it would really shut up the nay-sayers, maybe get him in line for a title shot.
Vera is tough but he has little or no skill.Lee underestimated him and paid for it.Duddy would beat Vera easily if he fought smart.Vera doesn't have the power to bother Duddy.
