Just watched a recording of Ormond. Thsnk god he threw something other than non-stop left hooks! Looks to have tidied up his work a bit and to be developing some new aspects to his game. Maybe theres hope for him yet! :thumbsup
Plenty of room for improvement, and he really ought to have stepped on the gas in the 1st as he easily could have dispatched his man then (instead of becoming the first person to ever allow Desjardin to escape one full round ) - but there's a bit to like. That right hand is frightful. Having watched the video it doesn't come off quite as impactful as it was, but from ringside you could hear it land with a crunch and see the dazed look in Theo's eyes as he got tipped into the fetal position.

Finally the fight is on. I think for this show with it being PPV more than likely the Undercard will be stacked. I wonder how many of the cyclone promotions lads will get a fight on the card? Also what a show for Matchrooms Irish fighters to get them on the card too would be of great benefit to them all. I wouldnt be shocked to see another World title fight added to this card maybe in the support act a fight with Jamie McDonald.
A lot of room for improvement. He didn't throw enough. He didn't look too comfortable under pressure either. He did drop him big with that right hand. How old is he?
didn't Sutcliffe break his hand again...the guy is a tremendous prospect... would hate to see him walk away from boxing:good
