Fine. You provide better career opportunities for our boxers yourself so.
The boxers themselves continually speak highly of MGM management, and Daniel Kinahan.

Ah sure thats settled so, upstanding citizen that Mr Kinahan and all that. Sure what could go wrong. I'm not so sure Jamie Moore talks highly of them.

You are one of these people that are happy to turn a blind eye to it aswell it seems, thats the problem.

that was crazy yesterday in dublin:-(... and puts the sport in bad light... mgm were making good progress in Dublin... it wouldn't stop me from going to there shows if they run anymore which is unlikely:good

I think I will go along to the Europa hotel tonight to watch james fryers against maxi hughes in a fight which has gone under the radar a bit... this is a 50/50 fight and home support for fryers could mean all the difference:good

Dont be glib. You know what I mean. There is no long queue of rich guys forming to look after our young boxers. Without Daniel Kinahan - who all the boxers say is a nice guy and takes real good care of them - our guys will be at the mercy of British promoters - they will not be a priority for the likes of the big English promoters and will be overlooked and neglected. Its the lesser of two evils.

Yesterday proved it is far from the lesser of two evils.....
There is a big difference from being charming and being a nice guy,

Can someone enlighten me on a bit of background on mgm? I'm genuinely clueless. I thought it was just a professional gym set up my Matthew Macklin 😂

Either you are a fool or you are stupidly naive.

You do know Daniel Kinahan doesn't give 2 ****s about boxing and it's a means to an end to allegedky launder proceeds of criminal activity? He's not some Robin Hood type character passionate about boxing stealing from the rich giving to the poor. Boxing is his means of appearing as a legitimate businessman.

I'm amazed you think it's fine this link between irish pro boxing and hardened criminals, maybe it shows what type of character you are. The fact the boxers think he's a nice bloke maybe doesn't paint the fighters in the best of light either.

Once it's not landing on your door you seem to be fine paying to prop these criminals by paying to see their shows.

I'm not one for political comments on a boxing forum. I prefer to see boxing discussion only. That said, given. The repeated association of professional boxing to criminality in certain circles I can more than understand the frustration among any boxing fan in this country after what happened yesterday. I have an opinion on it like many but it's not one I'm willing to post online. All I will say is that I have very strong feelings of anger and disgust right now. Also I've. Gone to great lengths to defend the sport of pro boxing but it's got to change. We are all entitled to our views but some things are.not defendable to people in a civilised society. For the record I don't care if people want to take drugs or not but it's the criminality behind it I have a problem with. If u want to smoke.hasj gp for it but please dont pay someone who is associated with a gang To get your hands on it. Especially when that gang has no care for human life or shooting people in front. Of little children in public.
