Hydes not taking any baby steps hes building fighters not records! he genuinely wants to see them challanged which is really a breath of fresh air
a return between these two is a must...only it should be on tv next time...thanks for the article podge...as someone else said boxrec needs updated
a bit of a drive then from wicklow...yep i will be there...im from west belfast[1/2 an hour away]...sweet pea ohara is on the card,a local west belfast fighter...i hope he can get a win and then maybe a return with eddie hyland..i heard ohara was robbed in dublin when they last fought
It's a long drive up, about 3 hours, but it's worth it to see Andrew Murray back and the Irish title fight. I've never had the chance to see O' Hara, but I heard it was a very close fight against Hyland. Any news on who O' Hara is fighting yet?
The second part of Podge's report on the weekend card is up on the irish-boxing forum at the minute. It will be up on the site proper this evening
no its not clear who he is fighting...but he has sold a lot of tickets...so im sure there is nothing to worry about, and they will find someone for him to box...ohara is a very classy box-fighter, you will enjoy him thanks...im a big fan of your site cormac
Just confirmed Danny O'Connor for this thursdays show. I'll have info on some of the other guests closer to the day
HAUGIAN ON TITLE TRAIL THIS SATURDAY http://www.britishboxing.net/news_4270-Haughian-on-title-trail-this-Saturday.html CROWD PLEASERS http://www.irish-boxing.com/stories/february09/feb09_crowd_pleasers.html Podge, I have huge reservations about Gary Hydes next date for his Newcastle promotional venture. The 28th of february of course is going to be a busy night of boxing with Rogan boxing Skelton, along with the Olympians debuting on Sky or Setanta. Also Jon Thaxton defends his European title on ITV4 the very same night. So my point being Hyde might struggle to sell tickets for his show.
