I think you pretty much nailed it in saying that people perceive Leo as basically "only" having to do what he has proven himself able to do many times (chin stamina work rate) whereas Carl is perceived as facing a whole new much more difficult challenge. Basically these people see Leo churning away with his endless stamina, long reach and huge punch output, starting to take a toll on a tiring Carl, gradually grinding him down in the middle rounds to force a stoppage sometime in the second half of the fight. It is much less straightforward to see a way for CArl to win. So understandably people are hedging their bets and sticking with the perceived favourite here. I think Carl can do it, but in the cold light of day I would have to make LSC the slight favourite. I'd like to hear what other people think though.
I think with Carl he hasnt looked comfortable in the Super Bamtamweight division for a long time. Since maybe Kiko 2 fight. Seemed his power was going a bit maybe because of the weight and him kinda getting a bit too big for the division. I think this move up in weight will help him out more. Wont be drained like his last 2 fights when they went to the distance. I also think his power will come back too. We all know that Carl has shown he can box well on the back foot and his jab is extremely good for a guy his height his jab over the last few fights has won him those fights. Against taller guys with a longer reach on him too. I think there is a lot of positives for Carl going into the fight. Going in a underdog will help but is LSC as good as people make him out to be. We have yet to see him in major troble his chin is it good. If he comes forward and walks onto a Frampton bomb will he get up again. I agree it will be cagey for the first few rounds. It will open up Carl has a point to prove over there in the US his training camp seems to be going well so I wouldnt be shocked if Carl wins. I think he may need to KO LSC to get the decision or i feel it might go against him on the cards.

It's comforting to hear that Frampton has still the support here. I also want to believe he can do this. So here's hoping
Good interview with LSC. http://www.***********.com/video-leo-santa-cruz-breaks-down-carl-frampton-defense--106606
LSC reveals his game plan for Frampton!! No surprises here folks! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=T5rLDbJHXVQ
he's going to fight the way he always fights and Frampton will have to come up with the right game plan to counter it. But can he???
Well I thought no he can. His record against " Mexican warriors" is good. Cazares. Avalos....and 10 of 12 v Gonzalez. I really rate Gonzalez. Nifty the conomical footwork and jabbing, backed up by just the right amount of rough house tactics! Should do the it! Keep Leo from getting set and you have him. At least that's what I keep telling myself anyway. 😀
why has the mcguigans severed there promotional ties with Anthony cacace :huh.... is it because of his lackadaisical attitude towards training... or his attitude outside of training:good
So got down to Paddy Power and finally got my bet for the Rio Olympics games on and in the Boxing I have done Ireland to win 3 Gold medals got 8/1 for it so i think its worth a bet.
In fairness to poor Anto the bad trainer reputation has followed him around since he was a teenager. Couldn't be further from the truth now.
