The Mc guigans tend to go with talent. Real prospects. Doubt they would bother with tommy. Even a top coach like Shane and a tip top manager like Barry can't make a silk purse from a sows ear.

 

Tried to sign him in 2013 but he turned them down to go to the World Championships (where he reached the QFs). Has been a bit of bad blood between the two parties since, McCarthy was describing it on the Cassius and Helder show a few months ago

 

mccarthy is lazy....thats his problem and we all know it...... he has mountains of talent with great power....if he grows up and starts trying harder then theres a chance he could become something

Burnett needs to keep those hands up though and learn some 'conventional' basic defensive skills - those cuts are very very bad. He cant go on like that at the level he is at now.
