I'm a big believer in Bernards pure boxing skill set. There is just no way that he's going to be able to avoid getting a good belt on the whiskers. I don't think he'll just give up when he does (in fact any time he's been hurt he's show a fighters heart in being game enough in trying to tough it out) but everytime he gets a good belt he is on ***** street. When he gets buzzed Cordoba (or anyone at world level) is going to be all over him like a rash and any world level boxer is going to be able to finish.
I was thinkin it was a step up then i saw his age then i looked at the date he last fought. well atleast spike is getting back in the ring thats the important thing!
yeah...1 thing 4 sure and that is dunne will go out on his shield..but thats hope he wont have to:good
it looks like an exciting night of boxing at the seniors http://www.rte.ie/sport/boxing/2009/0214/boxing.html
i saw spike sparring on friday in my gym he looked good, what age is he and whats everyone crying about he fought last oct didnt he
we r talking about patrick washington...spikes next opponent...washington is 40 this year...and hasnt fought in 12 years...yeah u read right 12 ****ing years...u said u seen spike spar...who was he sparring...how far do u think he can go:good
It was, Moylette going out was a surprise. I cant see McCarthy defeating Egan next week. Hes just not polished enough yet.:deal
12 years holy ****, he was only sparring an amateur, dont really know the guy and dont think his level is that high, although you could see spike could of taken him out when he pleased, the guy took a fair beating in the last round, thought spike might have gone easier on him but infact it looked as though he was going pretty easy i cant really say how far he will go, roddy collins said to me he can go european and onto world title shot id say defo european level anyway
I was hoping he might have got some sparring with a pro to bring him on. Packie Collins was talking about sending him over to wildcard. would be great if it happens.......
