Is he really any good Paddy? - honestly i haven't been that impressed with him.Theres just nothing i have seen from him to make me think he could win a European title, i hope to hell im wrong. When i watch Duddy,Lee Dunne or McCloskey they each have something that puts them well above average but i don't see that in Murray:think
I think he needs time to develope! hes fighting for an eu title not the full EBU title. hes up in belfast now training so hopefully that will bring him on. Personally id like to see him fight ***an. Not all our boxers are world class or euro class. but at the end of the day the only way to know is by taking the fights!
I understand that but wheres all the talk comming from that hes the next big thing in Irish Boxing.I think a fight with ***an would be a good yardstick as to where he is really at.
Will McCloskey be fighting any time soon? And how far away do you guys figure he is before he gets a FNF try out of sorts?
hes fighting on skysports on the 13th of march in the uk. not sure about when if ever he'll fight on fnf i suppose it depends what fight is on the table! hes on his march to a euro title so i dont see him going to america before that
Definately i think thats why there would be so much interest in it Im saving my verdict on him one thing is for sure the more Irish fighters out there the better for the sport over here! got a great show lined up for thursday

Apart from the big one in the O2 in march has anyone heard of any other shows coming up in Ireland? It seems we get 2 or 3 shows in one month then a lull for a few months again.
