Whose he fighting? Do you think he can win?

 

He is fighting Stephen Sparks. Clancy is a very crowd pleasing fighter. He use to fight at 135 lbs and the new weight ( 140 lbs ) has made him stronger. Yes he has a definite chance.

 

Dublin fight night Saturday and good luck to all the boxers and promoters, cant help but be worried though that there are still tickets available (boxers advertising on social media) i believe the hall holds just over 500 so with 12 bouts and 15 Irish boxers on the show surely this one should have been sold out weeks ago.
Is the slow uptake down to the weather or the rapid decline of boxing's reputation in Ireland,

 

Going over to see the fights support the show with couple friends hard slog selling tickets for small shows been in there shoes myself serious headache, blessing fighting on major cards like Frampton event for people I’ll do 400 tickets but that as much to do with the event as much as having regular supporters that will go either way.

They are expecting a sell out, should be doable with the amount of fights vs seats, I read tonight that as of Thursday morning the boxing was being pulled, not sure why but that would have been a disaster and maybe a final nail,but the promoters pulled something outta their asses so well done to them, Hope it works out,

122 lb Iwasa two defeats have come against southpaws and both were by ko and TJ is a southpaw and has power. Iwasa defeated Carl Frampton as a am.

TJ had a impressive AM CV. 5 x Irish Champ and was close to qualifying for the Beijing Olympic's. After missing his spot on the team TJ was burnt out and went to Aust to recuperate and picked up some work in construction scaffolding and rekindle his passion for boxing. TJ has his first 15 fights under Bondi boxing coach Tony Del Vecchio.
However his Melb manager Mike Altamura knew that if TJ was to progress to World Champ he had to train in the States and TJ is now promoted by Boston Mike Casey and trained by Hector Bermudez. TJ old AM rival is behind TJ world title shot and Carl
Frampton who TJ has beaten as a AM said on TJ twitter account " And he win as well "
TJ on his twitter account said " I'm going to tear this fella apart. I got it all, power,
huge skills set , a great boxing brain and balls of steel. I'm one of the best Irish
fighters out there right now. Soon u will know ".
If TJ sounds confidence its because he has a very level head and 2017 was a yr of
highs and lows for him. At the beginning of 2017 TJ had to return home to take
care of his mother after she was in a coma for nearly 8 weeks after a serious
accident and thankfully she has recovered and the high was the birth of his son
Theo James.
