Unlikely spike, its all about levels i suppose

 

Spike is tough and dangerous... . I wouldn't be writing him off just coz of what happened with lemieux. He's still a tough nights work for most opponents. Just hope he loses the " attitude" from now on.....

 

Spike says he will box on and get down to light middle. Deffo could be good at that weight. If Dennis Hogan can get to world level Spike might get a shot himself. was outweight by 15 pounds last night which is madness .

 

Problem with that plan is todays light middles are huge. Munguia, Hurd, etc are bigger than GGG. Also macklin and Lee tried the same thing. Didn't work for them and they were younger.
What's more important than the weight is he needs to get straight back and box again immediately while his profile is high before people forget him.

Or you could say another Irish fighter getting to experiance fightting on a big card and being paid nicely . Its what they go pro for, for nights like that.

 

They are all big light middles who I reckon wil all be moving up soon chasing that Canelo money.

Eubank been exposed now. The blueprint is there. No jab, no footwork. You just have to be very fit and tough and you've got a chance.. ...

Yes that's true. Eubank will be a prohibitive favorite here...... But from now on opponents will fancy their chances and not see him as invincible anymore.

Was excited to see that alright but then they said it would be down the line and for a world title fight, pie in the sky stuff,
I am anxious to see Quigley back in the ring though, i liked the look of him initally not overly impressed with his last two but he has a different set up now so will be good to see what that brings,
Quigley versus Keeler is one that would interest me,prob easier to make than quigley spike at the minute,
