that was in kanes hotel in gurteen near sligo...

tyson was there the year before...but i was out of the country then..

also, in case of any confusion...i'm the fat bald fella...sugar ray is the one with the cap on ;-)

 

i'm not going...but i tell you, it wouldnt take much to make me go...want to cheer on reynolds...and it looks like a night of very high class boxing, wouldnt mind going at all..

I'm going, really looking forward to it. Reynolds/Sheehan should be a scrap, Con's last week was.

Hickey/Donovan also should be a highlight. And Egan to make a bit of history, all in all anticipating a great night.

Cheers mate, I was at the semi finals last week. It was a brilliant couple of nights of boxing. The finals this year look like one of the best in recent times. There so many good finals, I dont know were to begin. But the highlight must be Egan v McCarthy.:hi:

Shall do. I talked to Egan yesterday and he said:

“I’m looking forward to getting in there with Tommy McCarthy. He’s had a lot to say over the last few weeks which I feel is a little bit disrespectful but that’s how he is, that’s his manner.

“He’s shooting his mouth off but that’s just the way he’s always been, it’s not just because he’s boxing me. I’ve known him a number of years and that’s just him

“But I’m the senior champion, he has to come and take the title off me. I’m just going to get in there and do what I do. I’m in great shape, I’m on the weight, I’m ready to go.

“I went to it and had a look. (McCarthy's semi-final) I wasn’t overly impressed by the bout, he done a lot of slapping and things like that but it’s all on the night, I’m gonna bring my A game.

"I don’t know what game he’s gonna bring, but I don’t think it’s gonna be enough.”

The big fella is confident anyway
