ta 4 that cormac....i will keep an eye out 4 it...do u think bbc n Ireland might show more shows...the craigavon show was the perfect oppertunity...but they didnt do it...i no they showed it on there site...but its not the same:good
I would agree with you if Darren was 22. At the age of 26 and his current rate of fighting he could be 29/30 before fight 15. I think he should be fighting better opposition now and he could go really far. I'm not saying that he should be fighting Kessler next or anything, its just a guy who's been stopped nine times is hardly going to be a challenge/learning curve for Darren. People like the guy DeGale is fighting with around about the same number of wins as losses are good fights at the start of careers. But a guy who's 6-22 just doesn't seem like a good move for a fighter with potential yes, lots of it, but not with time on his side.
update on spike o sullivan was doing light sparring on wednesday looking sharp and thursday was sparring against jim rock and paul mccloskey (british lww champ), should be another ko in boston in 2 weeks time
He's a good guy, I needed a break after explaining to Fres what really happened in his bout with Toney...
I didn't watch the fight until tonight. (Well, there was a 9 inch screen 30 feet away when I was at the Pavlik fight, but didn't see too much that way). I wondered how Duddy would do with Burns. It seems like the perfect match to me. Burns line to Duddy in the corner about his anger management is destined to be a classic. I think Burns has the perfect temperment to keep John focused. I was impressed with his corner instruction to him. I look for good things from the pair. You will be able to tell how many people don't actually watch fights on this board but still make comments. We will hear the same old Duddy lines that have been used before in spite of the fact Duddy was a much better and more complete fighter in his last appearance.
