he looks in powerful shape...the big mans talking the talk.... i hope he can walk the walk...he needs 2 start hard and fast against skelton....meet him in the centre of the ring and show him whose boss...i sense that people r coming around 2 the possibility that we could have a decent heavy here

come on the big man...do it 4 Ireland :good

Paul Hyland(about Lukin): He has 10 wins and I think 5 or 6 losses.
Slightly incorrect there from Paulie as his opponent tonight Lukin has a record of 8-16-2.

Lukin is tough though and will give Hyland a good run out, but either someone has been misleading him or he's trying to give the impression he's fighter tougher opposition than he is.

Hyland is being groomed as the "sacrificial lamb" by Maloney for Napa, but I don't rate Napa as highly as some on this forum. Paul Hyland has a fair chance of dethroning him if they actually meet.

Enjoy your night in Newcastle tomorrow big ears.

I hear Kenny Egan hasn't shown up for the USA international at the Stadium. It's a strange one he's the captain, impeccable record.
Brendan Fitzpatrick in his place apparantly

FYI. A source close to the Pavlik camp says Pavlik/Duddy won't happen in May/June because John is going back down to 154. Burn's discipline showing up again?

Thats an odd state of affairs. Any clue to whats wrong?????

Johns future is best served at 154, hes too small for middle. He can hang with the best at that weight.

Nothing indicated on Egan as yet. I heard his coaches and all are fuming.
It was reported today that he'd be a no-show, but was then supposed to be back on.
    It's an odd one.

    Speaking to the Duddy-ites:

What happened to Duddy/Hearns at 154? It was in heavy talks and then seemingly died off. Any chance they're renewed?

That contract was made by Irish Ropes[ Duddy's old management]. I know Duddy is out again on 24th April, but no opponent has been named.:deal
