Jamie doesnt consider himself Irish - Fury does. Fury fought for Ireland as an amateur and thats good enough for me.
I had a feeling that something like this wasnt too far away. I didnt like the way mclouglain said duddy turned on him like a dog. I read a very detailed article a while ago about the duddy / irish ropes story (cant think of the writer but im sure some of you read the same piece) and if what was said in that were true then what did mcloughlain expect to happen. Does this mean that duddy is free to sign a multiple fight deal with another promoter?
there is nothing much wrong with your list ...but i would think dunne could be higher than mccloskey...he is fighting for a world title soon...rogan deserves the big jump up...and moore deseves to go down:good
if thats true ardy...that would b pretty sad...rogie should not only get a shot at euro title...he should b instated as champion rite now:fire:good
The article was pretty damning - however, Hauser is affiliated with Duddy's new team so I dont think the article was written from a neutral point of view
Yeah i agree it was one sided but Irish ropes not selling 4 thousands tickets on Paddys day and shutting down business because of it says they were a one ticket pony.
Also it shows how little is thought of Andy Lee, who needs to box over here again soon. He said in an interview a while back he'd like to go the European route and possibly get title shot down the line for Thomond. I think he should get over here and face the likes of Barker
