there's this one kid rocky murphy irish dad italian mum i would stay out of his way! He is 5 and is already looking for a title shot at straweight he doesnt want belts, he wants LUNCHMONEY!

Good Duddy article you posted the link to Ardy. I had no idea so many irish had green card and visa problems in america. There are so many americans with irish in them and all - it seems weird that these people would not be welcome here. I think the ultra-liberal president JFK was the culprit in putting a moratorium on european immigration back in the early 1960's. It is no coincidence that since then the country has seen an increase in crime and the cities have become much more dangerous. We have become more like a third-world country in that regard. America was pretty much better off back in the 1950's when our immigrants came mainly from europe IMO. Anyway, there used to be a lot of students from ireland who came to places near where I live like Atlantic City and Wildwood to work for the summer. In the last 10 years since ireland has really prospered and become rich - many less feel the need to come. Now it is mostly people from poland, the former USSR, lithuania and Bulgaria who come in the summer. I met a nice fellow named Keith who emigrated from ireland in the mid-eighties. He told me the kids there now get a great education and find excellent work after college. So that is good for ireland but bad for america I guess. I say bad because many businesses really loved to hire the irish. They are hardworking and have that utterly charming way of speaking. I love brogues and how the Irish talk. Also, they are generally more friendly than the ones from eastern europe who come now. The polish seem nice and good-natured too.

 

As much as I would see a Pav - Duddy match Fra, I hope Taylor makes a fight of it.

 

i think taylor will make a fight of it too....but all taylors fights since hopkins... have been poor.. everyone thought he was going to be the next superstar of the middles...but he was a big dissappointment

 

I think that article is very biassed, Duddy has been coming along very well and has improved over the past 2 years. Yes, Eastman was 37 but he fought a great fight that night and was a lot more active that he has been in the past. I suspect the writer hasn't actually seen the bout and is more of a boxrec expert than a boxing expert, which seems to be the case with a lot of boxing scribes on the net.
