This is one scary looking dude. Martin Rogan is one hard-looking fellow.

Wow what a great fight! Rogan threw punches non-stop! Typical tough Irishman who is not afraid to mix it up in there. Thanks ninebar for putting it up here.

My irish ancestors are from cork alledgedly where the dark-haired irish are from. I'm a typical american mutt though - 1/3 irish, 1/3 italian, 1/3 german abouts.

What would you guys think about a Rogan vs Wladimir Klitschko fight? I know it seems like a mismatch but consider this first - what if Rogan catches the champ early before he gets warmed up? Do you think he would have at least a puncher's chance maybe?

Dunne is excellent! I saw hightlights of his victory. I usually followed the irish-american fighters more than the fellows across the pond. Although I was a big Barry McGugian fan and the 'Celtic Warrior' Steve Collins was terrific too. I recently was talking to Gerry Cooney at the airport in Newark. He is a really nice man. He was headed down to florida to play golf. If Cooney had Martin Rogan's heart and zest for combat he would have ripped Larry Holmes a new A-hole when they fought back in 1982. He was too passive much of the time. That left-hook could crush bone though.

Jaysus we'll all be up until noon tomorrow at this rate. I don't know what to do. I've already watched it back 3 times.

Still hard to believe how much more powerful than ever before he was. I'd say he at the very least doubled his punch power. Very possibly tripled it. That kid hadn't hit the canvas very often before

By the time of the knockdown, I hear ALL three jusges had Cordoba 4 rounds ahead. Make sense of that, if you wiil

What a night, what a way to see your first ever world title bout as I'm sure many in there did. Dunne :fire:fire

And ps, there's a press conference tomorrow afternoon at 12 in the old berkely court.

Dunne was tired afterwards tonight, and dehydrated as they both were.

obviously Cordoba wasn't up to it, so it's in the morning.

Plus, fair play to the crowd, they were out of this world :thumbsup
