thats the boy! i was onto him yesterday He asked me to suggest a different pic.

He wanted to do one with action in it. but i feel that means alot more thats the moment dunne won his world title I'll never forget it and it would be nice to have it captured in a painting!

I kept a special eye out on Kelly because of you nutter - he disapointed me big style. Not an impressive performance at all.I thought he could have got the decision but there wasnt many in the crowd who questioned it!

I asked John Breen about it and he said the ref never scored the knock down. I agree it was a close fight but thought he shaded it.

The guy down the very bottom left of the picture, with his mouth open - I know him!

Plus, if you gaze up over Cordoba's crotch, you'll see the Irish Times journalist looking very happy too

Nah it wasn't a gift. I heard the belfast boys thought it was a stitch up alright. A point or two either way and I couldn't have argued too much. However, to give it to Hyland by 4 and to only have O'Hara winning a single round outright was complete bull****.

I was there working at that fight and I always score in an unbiased fashion when I'm working. I had it dead level going into the last and I think Hyland pipped it. He landed a few big left hands in the last 30 seconds of the round that swayed it his way.

That very night, before the main event, they announced there would be a rematch but it never materialised

I know it was not his best performances, he looked awesome in craigavon, but I still thought he won. His opponent was a strong kid.I hope it does not put Michael of, cause Im hopeful of a Peters show in Dundalk.:bbb

Considering Michael was fighting at home you have thought he had got the nod in a close fight.:patsch

was Emile the ref? I think he was. Maybe he was trying to make Michael the exception to his rule!

Question - is Andy Lee best served staying in the US under Steward or would he be better off returning to Ireland and training under the likes of Breen or Hawkins. He looked truly one dimensional on Saturday night and if anything has taken a step back from Feb 2008 when Steward was proclaiming in Limerick that he was ready to take on Pavlik.
Andy comes across as a really nice lad and I for one would like to see him achieve to his fullest potential. It could well be that he is, I'm no expert. He looked very easy to hit on Saturday night and there didn't seem to be any plan B coming from his corner. If you contrast the interaction between him and Steward between rounds and Dunne/Hawkins it was quite stark.
I would be interested in your thoughts.
