    Did appleby get his title in scotland? Those crowds can be mad remember arthur v gomez and what gomez did.

    There was abit of controversy in Waldrons one, the english lads said if it was ruled a deliberate headbutt as it was John Waldron should have been disqualified but ND it stood.I'm told they will fight again in the dolphil show in Castlebar.Was there only 3 contests?

    Jaysus thats massive ardy is that a seel out for the odyssey? When was the last time ireland had a crowd that big ? i think the dunne fight was 9000

    I read in the star that the waldron decision was changed and John was given the win on a disqualification.This fight/result summed up the whole promotion i think,poor opposition ,badly ran and confusion from start to finish.I like Francis Barrett so i hope he learns from this and moves on.

    yeah...this atmosphere will b super charged...if lindsay makes appleby respect his power at an early stage...then this could be easy 4 him:good

    But he will have sampled that type of atmosphere at least i know its going to be the other way round in belfast. Gomez also proved its not impossible to overcome the crowd. Anyone betting on lyndsey?
    Its too tight for me too make a bet.

    Yeah, Would have been good to see Andy in Germany!
    Still at least he back on the march and i hope Manny's right about the eye and he can get a few more fights under his belt without these long layoffs.
