Munroe followed by Poonsawat sound's like a good plan, as the Thai is the interim Belt holder a win over him will leave no doubt as to who the real WBA Champion is (Assuming Cabellero goes up to 126 for the Gamboa fight).

I'm not worried by Munroe, yes he's a good boxer but not in Dunne's class, Poonsawat Kratingdaegym however will be a lot tougher nut to crack.

The Thai is the only other man to have beaten Ricardo Cordoba is 38-1 (27KO) and his only loss was to Wladimir Sidorenko in Germany with very odd scoring to say the least.

If Dunne wins these two fight's i'd like to see him either challenge Rafael Marquez for the WBC Title (Marquez is fighting in a mini tournament for the WBC Belt) or move up to 126 for an assault on the Featherweight Division.

sry i was trying to write and listen at the same time. they were talking about this whole expenses scandal and how it would be nice sometimes if in the realm of real and professional life, you could just slap someone once in a while......then they say well we have a txt here from a mr m. rogan from breens gym in belfast. he says he has just finished slapping his co-workers (ie his sparring partners)for the last 35 mins, rogie then attmptd to plug sky on friday night but the dude was having non of it. wished him gd luck!...........

so the legend of rogan grows. if this guy keeps going we are going to have a belfast special on our hands.........at the moment he has given a taxi to about 500,000 people, he has sorted out the entire west belfast metropolitan area for their car repairs.....when/if he wins a world/euro title in belfast id say a month later the estimated attendance at the odysey will be about 50,000!

in fairness to the brits, they are no way near the worst posting group on ESB...there are some genuine freaks on here.....remember that guy who went through this entire thread to find unrealistic quotes.......jesus

they usually are fair enough in calling their fighters, thing is they bash them to death and kick them when they are down, but god forbid anyone else can!

    SUTHERLAND: I WANT TOUGHER TESTS

DARREN SUTHERLAND is at loggerheads with promoter Frank Maloney over the quality of his opponents.

Ireland's Olympic bronze medallist believes he is ready to step up in class after impressive KO wins against Georgi Iliev and Siarhei Navarka in his first two professional fights.

The pair failed to last ten minutes between them and Sutherland is hoping for a tougher test at Stoke-on-Trent's Fenton Manor Sports Complex on May 29.

Maloney said: "Darren is driving me mad to give him some real tests, but it is about developing him in the gym as well as the ring.

"I have an opponent is mind who I hope to name early next week and if records are anything to go by I think I have decent test for him.

"Darren is an immense prospect, but it is all about the right fights at the right time even for the very best and I have explained this to him.

"My track record with upcoming fighters in good and when Darren is ready he'll be unleashed against the very best, and I bet he'll be there standing at the end."

Top of the talent crammed card is local hero Chris Edwards (12-13-3) who defends his British and Commonwealth flyweight title against Derby's Usman Ahmed (5-1-1)

Also on the top class bill, local hero Scott Lawton (26-4-1) faces Welshman Gary Buckland (15-1) in an eliminator for the British light-welterweight title.

An eliminator for the British super-featherweight title sees Dewsbury's Gary Sykes (11-0) square off with Manchester's big ticket seller Anthony Crolla (13-1), in what promise to be a fierce ten rounder.

Tickets (£35 and £75) for the show which also features other top fighters from Stoke including Scott Miller and Alex Ibbs are on sale and available from www.frankmaloney.com and 0871 226 1508.

I know, I feel the same, I think Brian Peters is playing his cards close to his chest in the hope of getting a big Payday for Bernard, but the big gun's all seem to be chasing other fights so it's not looking too good at the moment, The only top Super Bantamweight currently looking for an opponent is Juanma Lopez.:yikes
