Heard from a friend of a friend that Peters isnt runnig a show untill the end of summer.September was mentioned. So does that mean Dunne could be going to fight in America or that he is going to have a nice long rest before extracting another 50 grand out of fighting Monroe, Kinda sucks for the rest of the guys under Peters wing though.
I think Warren has promtional rights on Mc Closkey for his next two. That is the price of doing business with the devil..
yer not wrang! hence the reason I very rarely stray outside a dis thread on ESB. Some serious gobshites alright - nop wonder boxing has a bad name in some quarters
A high price indeed, So McCloskey will be on Sky Sports for the foreseeable future, I hope Warren has him fighting back over here instead of ****ing Widnes!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNL0ktyCoMM interview before audley fight, just love rogie at 1:37 'our backs have been against the wall for 800 years' !
Hope "big Rogie" isn't looking past this guy Sexton. Also hope someone can film and post on you tube (if He Wins, Don't bother to if he looses):?
what news? if your refering to what you heard on the grind it looks like we wont be able to break the story until our sunday show on the 24th of the month but it WILL be a world exclusive! the story is true no doubt about that but theres some other things going on behind the scenes!
That ties in what I have heard. Jamie Conlon is turning pro in August/September on the next Brian Peters show. By then Peters will have promoted only two shows since the beginning of the year. Pretty dismal, when you compare it with last year. Peters and RTE are quickly becoming one trick ponies. SINCLAIR BACK TO HIS BEST http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/sport/other-sports/sinclair-back-to-his-best-breen-14298777.html Word has been drifting out of the Breen camp that Sinclair has been sensational in training, I hope he can replicate this form on the night. At the same time I don't want Coyle to get completeley outclassed to the extent were he becomes disillusioned with the sport. So I'm sort of wishing for a clear points win for Sinky, and the kind of defeat for Coyle that the Mayo man can look on as a learning experience.
i can't go. i'd love to, and was nearly organising going a couple of time over the last 2 weeks.. but, my lad has his communion on sunday...and my missus is going over the top competing with the other daft mothers to see who can have the biggest bouncy castle in the garden.....and i'm hit with a huge list of jobs from her...cut the grass, fix that press, fix that curtain rail, power hose that, etc etc... and the washing machine is bolloxed, so dunno what thats going to cost me on top of the above... i was nearly going...honest.
