i think the deal he had was with matchroom ...but now he has stepped aside 4 morrison who is a matchroom fighter, 2 allow morrison 2 fight 4 the british title...matchroom have probabley wavered the rights of mccloskeys next fight which matchroom were still entitled to promote...this should allow paul 2 fight on a peters promotion on RTE...****ing hell i think i confused myself theregood
Should be a head to head war. Everything from the Breen gym says that Sinclair should win, but I believe Coyles youth and size should make the difference here.Coyle will win by stoppage.:thumbsup
on form he should win but ive never seen sexton fight..he was knocked out by chisora who i think is very overated so therefore rogie should knock him out.:good
matt macklin is fighting either stephen bendall or matthew thirwell on the khan undercard.interview with him on frank warrens site.paddy they have a couple of pics from the weigh in today on there as well.
Any idea what time rogie is in the ring tmrw?? Finished work at ten, so it may be wishful thinking that ill catch both the Sinlair Coyle fight and the Rogan fight.
sky show the main event first and then go back to the previous fightsso rogie will be in around 10:15.dunno if they will even show sinclair-coyle cos the olympians might take all the time
imagine rogan and mccloskey going for ebu titles on the one night..also o hara for british, murray defends his eu and haughian fight for something...10000 crammed into the odyssey!:yep:yep:good
The media attention has been huge. From BBC to UTV, and The Irish News to The Belfast Telegraph. These tv stations and newspapers have kept Rogan in the public eye from the day this contest was announced. And the result is a near 10,000 sold out Odyssey [according to todays Irish News], although The Telegraph is reporting 6000 which sounds way off. Rogan has came a long way since the Park Avenue Hotel 18 months ago when East Belfast boxing fans[ well Glentoran fans really] booed him when he was announced as hailing from west Belfast. I was one of the few applauding Rogan in and out of the ring, and to be truthful I feared for my own safety that night[ one of Eddie Hyland's fans was hospitalised by elements within the partisan crowd]. There is still an issue with the shorts, but Rogan is unapologetic and will wear them tonight. But aside from all that Belfast boxing is well and truly back. I will be in McHughs Bar [beside the Albert Clock] from 6pm, so any of you headers fancy a pint, come along. How will you know me I hear you ask. Well look out for the aul eejit shadow boxing at the bar, as he explains to his mates how Rogie is going to KO Sexton in 4 to 6 rds, that will be me. MAGEE BELIEVES IN THE NEW SINCLAIR http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/s...s-in-the-lsquonewrsquo-sinclair-14303248.html Neil has been one my favourite boxers since turning pro back in 95. If he is looking as good as Magee claims, the Odyssey crowd will be in for a treat.
