Corbetts is a real character, he was funny as hell in the Prizefighter comp, and the interview was nuts as well :rofl I read in the paper today that he has retired, I hope not, he would be a loss. If he got himself in shape he could beat a lot of guys at domestic level, for sure.

I rate sutherland very highly. Tune in to this weeks Friday Fight Night on Sky, and form your own opinion. Sutherland is fighting the same boxer that took DeGale the distance in his first fight. i promise you will not be disappointed.:thumbsup

Garcia fight is off, he didn't want to fight Campillo at this stage of his career. He signed the contract to fight, Gary Hyde brought in three quality southpaws as sparring partners, Garcia was going well, but suddenly decided he didn't want to fight anymore.

He's been getting advice behind Gary Hyde's back from the jackals in Florida in recent weeks, and it looks like they persuaded him not to go to Spain. Acosta then had the attitude of "If he's not going, I'm not going."

Hyde had WBA judges from Denmark, the UK and Germany, an international referee, etc, to assuage Garcia's fears of giving up home territory, but Garcia refused to come back.

I've seen first hand what Gary Hyde has done for him - a prince to the throne wouldn't get half the things Garcia has - and he's gone AWOL. It's no exaggeration to say six figure sums have been invested into him and he doesn't even need to spend a cent on a loaf of bread.

I can tell you, for all the talent he has, he is the laziest ****er I have ever seen. Thinks talent can get him through, but he doesn't need hard work. I have held my tongue out of respect to Gary Hyde and Glenn McCrory until now, but I'm not gonna hold back anymore.

He sparred Darren Sutherland last month and a very unsavoury incident took place. It was scheduled for six, Garcia bested Darren for three, Darren rocked him with a beautiful hook in the fourth, and Garcia downed tools at the end of the round. Darren was raging, he was just getting into it and Garcia completely disrespected him. No way would he go on.

Didn't want to know. I know someone who was there, and they said Gary was fuming at the lack of respect shown to Darren. He apologised profusely to Darren and his team, but Garcia walked away like he was Billy Big Bollocks.

We all respect Cuban athletes, they have been the bedrock of amateur boxing, but unless Garcia changes his ways, then he will end up the way of Jorge Luis Gonzalez. A shame, a real shame.
