    Tonights fights

    Wednesday June 17th (Quarter Finals)

51Kg: Declan Geraghty (Ireland) v Nordine Ait Ihay (France)

54Kg: John Joe Nevin (Ireland) v Luke Campbell (England)

57Kg: David Oliver Joyce (Ireland) v Ian Weaver (England)

60Kg: Eric Donovan (Ireland) v Husnu Kocabas (Holland)

64Kg: Philip Sutcliffe (Ireland) v Marcin Legowski (Poland)

69Kg: Willie McLaughlin (Ireland) v Maciej Sulecki (Poland)

75Kg: Darren O'Neill (Ireland) v Eneste Glodi (Norway)

Nevin v Campbell should be the best fight there. I saw Campbell winning the Euros and he looked talented but I dont think Nevin has anything to be scared of.

Egan v Szello is a fight between two very experienced boxers, two of the best in the whole tournament, and both will give away nothing there.

Danny Price of England (a former "victim" of Mike Perez) will test Sheehan strongly and probably have the edge.

My personal favourite Phil Sutcliffe Jr has his work cut out against Legowski - a big test.

****ing unbelievable - the entire squad into the semis? Someone please tell me that this is being televised or highlights will be on.

We'll be giving the Cubans a run for their money at the next Olympics at this rate!

Was just on the rte website there, and no sign of anything

Some ****ing shite from the Confederations Cup and lesbian golf. When are they going to get behind what is clearly our nation's best sport (in terms of individual achievement) ?

Ireland gets no Olympic medals at any sport except backsin and we get three in that - you'd think that maybe an Olympic qualifier might be shown or a highlight of a World championship - not a ****in chance!

Now if yer wantin Leinster schools roogby, three day eventin, cricket, curling, ball scratchin, dwarf jugglin or hockey from Avoca - then RTE is yerman! :patsch
