Terrific news Paddy. Now what we need is McCloskey boxing for the European title as the chief support.

Well i cant see Abdu Tebazalwa who is now fighting Patrick just coming to Survive, Same with the guy Robert Nelson Fighting Paulie, These boys are coming to win,
Robbie Long had an opponent from Germany with 3-0-0 and the guy broke his hand sparring, so he is a last minute replacement as is Jamie Powers opponent as John Waldron pulled out at last minute,
As for Spike i taught he could of been tested a lot more alright but his camp pick his fighters.....

Magee and Peters supposed to be bidding against each other and dont get on,WBA realise these two mad paddys cant reach agreement on their own so it goes to purse bids.Magee forgets to bid and Peters puts in an outrageously low bid and wins.
2 paddys +1 deception =cheap world title fight.
I think thats how it goes anyway.Like something out of oceans eleven

:thinkCheap for a world title in our money its about €84,000 and £74,000. I am shocked no rival promotor didn't try and get this fight say Frank Moloney have this fight on the same bill as a Munroe fight.

:hey Happy Peters won the purse hopefully he can put together a good bill. He last bill was good didn't mind the mixed card with pro-am fights I thought it was good. Hopefully he can get Dunne , McCloskey and 1 of Duddy or Lee on the bill.:thumbsup

I dont quite get it, where doest that 80k odd go? Is that for the fighter's purse, or is that just going to the WBA?

Originally it looked like peters and Magee had done a deal behind the scenes

(as i had good info that magee had already lodged a big last week)

but now it looks like the THai's promoter had a falling out with Magee

poonswat will get 45% of the purse HOWEVER Dunne will be able to get extra money from Peters on top of his 55%

all this info comes from the WBA

I have to take my hat off to Peters either hes the luckiest fecker out there

or he pulled a master stroke with the thai's promoter
