Interesting articles on Lee and McCloskey. http://www.***********.com/?m=show&id=12959 http://www.***********.com/?m=show&id=12956
I wrote this about GOmez over the past year - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Gomez He certainly had a "vida loca"
Iceman - not sure what the problem is - everything looks fine then when I preview post before sending, letters on link are being replaced by asterisks. Asterisks have replaced '***********' - both articles can be found near top of home page on boxing scene website. If anybody has answer to this problem please advise.
Hello Mick, here is the Andy Lee article in it's entireity.Mick you can't paste anything from boxing scene onto this site, but I got this from Irish Voice, the origional source of the article. LEE CLOSE TO TOP RANK DEAL http://www.irishvoice.com/
Hello Sandwedge, thanks for the info on this article. BERNARD DUNNE: WESTERN BACKS INTO THE WEST http://www.westernpeople.ie/news/story/?trs=mhsnsnauql&cat=sport
it says in this article.... that martin sweeney...KOed andy lee in the amateurs...does that mean then we have to worry.... about lees chin:scaredas:
Andy has already signed the deal. It's a 3 fight deal with the 1st fight on the undercard of Pavlik / Lockett and possibly against Marco Antonio Rubio. He may still fight Vera on ESPN but the fight in Ireland against Eastman is off as it was going to be in May which is too close to the June fight with Rubio.
i didnt know that pavlik/lockett deal was finalised....there was speculation but nothing confirmed...i heard yesterday that duddy/pavlik will still happen during the summer... can anyone else throw some light on this:huh
Cheers Ardy - I will bear that in mind in future. Lee states that he will honour the deal with Brian Peters for further fights in Ireland. I wonder when and where he will fit these in?
Arum said they are still interested in fighting Duddy towards the end of the year - that could be after the Lockett figth or the one after that
