i think most of them are capable of medalling except for geraghty ,mcmonagle and mcgloughlin

the rest with a good draw could come away with something

dont think its anything to do with tallaght the venue holds 3000 and is a bit awkward to get to and thats the 1st time team hyland used it their other 4 shows where in the stadium but mr peters put a stop to that. the other factor was U2 where on the same night but team hyland still went ahead despite the obstacals and also paid for setanta coverage so boxing fans could get a look at the boys. as rogie said on setanta an unbelievable night boxing, role on their next show i,ll be ringside again this time hope to meet paddy

Paddy are you witholding on us again c'mon give us some names but apparantly team Dunne are still working toward the 26th. so it looks like thats the date,I'm starting to wonder about the venue.Filling the o2 in five weeks would take some doing.

Was there myself not anything as grand as ringside but i really enjoyed the night and the contests were good.
Didnt like the arena though, a bit shabby and cold feeling i felt, city west would be a better venue for the next one.Like you i will definetly be at the next Hyland promotion.

Rogan parting with Breen seems like the stupidest thing Rogan could have done at this time. And ST John's Bosco[where Martin is now training] is a most peculiar choice of club to use also. The question must be asked is Rogan training himself, if so Sexton has already won.

:shock::shock::shock: That's a shocker! I really can't get my head around that decision, Breen and Magee have been a huge part of Rogan's sucess so why ditch them now?

yup your right ardy. john breen has trained a ridiculous number of world champions and there arent too many other coaches around with his knowledge of pro boxing.

wonder what has caused it and where eamon magee comes into things

Saw in that article aswell, Duddy might be facing Andy Lee. That'd be a great fight, wonder where it would be held?

To get it to sell i think it'd have to be in Limerick or the north, Lee would have too much for Duddy the way he's been performing lately.
maybe its time for John to go back to his brawling rocky style that he had success with in the past.

I dont know, 2 big enough Irish boxers fighting, that's gotta get a crowd. You'd have Duddy's following from Derry and Lee's crowd from Limerick. Plus general boxing fans and some excitement in the general public from two Irish guys fighting.

I'd say that could definitely do good numbers and there isn't really an indoor venue in Limerick thats big enough.

I would really like to see this fight, the only shame is one of them has to be the loser. If John loses that could be the end of his career. If Andy loses its another set back in his career.
