agreed dunne sound's as bitter as hell lately. i think he hasn't got over that loss to martinez yet. I wouldnt be surprised if he was never the same fighter again. I'd like to see him fight martinez then munroe after this fight.
munroe was cautious against martinez...he didnnt want to excchange...but against dunne...munroe might go for the KO...it would be a good fight...dunne has a lot of skill...bernard could win on points.
If as expected Darren Sutherland and Darren O'Neill meet again it should be another cracking fight. As O'Neill says in the article the winner of this should be a nailed on certainty for China. Putting my neck on the block - O'Neill wins and goes to the Olympics - Sutherland turns pro.
in honesty, i aint no dunne hater, although i think he was a well constructed hype job in back home,he does have skills, but not the skills for the very top level,he has very little power and is ridiculously small, even at super bw he looks borderline anorexic. i also find that dunne has serious stamina issues and that his ability to box to a comfortable 12rd decision is seriously diminished by this,in this fight with the norwegian prior to the martinez fight he seriously struggled in the later rounds although his output wasnt that high in the early rounds,it's because of this that i dont see dunne ever winning a european title again.
Yeah mick, Sutherland isn't as quick to get going as he used to be.He tends to have claw back large points deficates nowadays.Sutherland is more suited to the pros.
MOORE KICKS OFF STAINT PATRICK DAYS CELEBRATIONS http://www.secondsout.com/USA/news.cfm?ccs=229&cs=24027
moore needs to get a move on if he is.....to make any impact on the world stage...but i think he can do it... does anyone know if this show is being televised.
It will probably be on taped delayed on MSG network. I can't believe how much the network is getting behind Duddy, Saturday they are showing a Duddy marathon (Campas, Bonsante, Strickland, Furlan, Prince, Eastman, Smichet.) Anyway good luck to James and here is a video of the final press conference. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOcjT2cWi7w
thanks ml for the weight-in footage....how do i access MSG network...do you have the link...will the fight be broadcast live
They don't stream anything live on the website. They usually will broadcast the fights a couple weeks after the fact. Not sure if they will go to the same lengths for james, but the fight is in the theater. Just have to see if it gets leaked to any sites.
Im also curious about the attendace considering James is unknown. Will Duddy fans also go to see James?
thanks again ml...would have loved to see this fight....im sure moore will bring a sizable crowd...and the st pats revellers also...but there will be fair amount of poles there also...i hope moore can carry on were duddy has left off
