He has/had an Irish granmother I believe , but Moore(no matter how much I like him) is an Englishman and simply that . Things are a bit different with Macklin seeing as both his parents are Irish and he has spent a considerable amount of time in this country but Moore is just plain English .

I've never seen a fighter want it so much and not get it , the 9th round where Macklin didn't really have the power to stand and still forced himself forward throwing punches would bring a tear to your eye .

I think he is slightly better than Duddy , although both are around the same level .

yea iseen that fight,whata fight aswell,what i mean is that duddy has been involved in battle after battle already and has shown the will to do it again and again,the campas fight,the smichet fight the bonsante fight were all such tough fights that duddy gave away alot in but he always somehow seemed to have enough to pull himself back.

i think that macklin is a very good fighter and i just hope that in the near future he can propel himself onto the world stage.

Fair enough Duddy has certainly been in more tough fights than Macklin , but still to say he has more will is imo simply wrong .

Here's a reminder of the Moore fight for people:

Macklin has a good test in Yori Boy Campas next and we should get a good idea of what level he's at after that .
