Both can punch but I think the Finns chin may not be as good as Macklins.But this is Macklins toughest test since Moore.

i dont really care for fury to be honest at this stage, he has so much work to do physically and technically. i wanted to see haughian and murray in real fights. i know murrays opponent has a decent enough record but lets face it if his opponents should match his ambition he needed a harder fight than this and haughian seems like a forgotten man. john breen is always bigging him up but he seems to hardly ever fight and its rarely a 'live' opponent when he is and now less than one week before his fight they dont even have a man to box him? he would be better going to america for 6 months and get some top, consistent and hard sparring in than smacking about tomato cans after 19 pro fights

Once I saw Sylvester and Lorenzo were fighting for the vacant IBF title Macklin came into my mind. I think he's potentially World Class and I feel he'll prove it against the very good Amin Asikainen this week. Asikainen is possibly a little past his best, and although I wouldn't call him chinny I would say that you can 'get to him', particularly when you put combinations together. Gevor isn't a big puncher and didn't hurt him with one single shot, but when he put them together it seemed to stun the Finn. This is a huge fight for Macklin and winning it would certainly put him up there on the World stage and probably into the World top 10.
