    I can see where you are coming from, Macklin is further ahead of Lee now but it's taken 8 years for him to get to British/European level. Lee has been a pro for 4 years and is getting himself in contention for a European title shot. Let's see where Lee is in another 4 years time:D

    Ya, after he couldn't box for England as their #1.
    Fury is English first and Irish second, that's nothing against him really.
    Just a statement of fact.

    They were - but they are now retired - like Corbett! Do you want me to like retired boxers in a top 20 list of current boxers - stick Rinty and McLarnin back in the top five along with Collins perhaps!?

    Thats pretty much where I am with respect him also - he is the "most Irish" professional boxer that wont be on the list.

    Ive got a recording of an interview saying that an irish title means more to him then an english title

    But at the same time i got the feeling he was telling me what he thought i wanted to hear!

    I have to say man Tyson Fury sure knows how to tell a story!

    I reckon he works like this - British title > Irish title > English title
