I'm not all together convinced it's the best move for him, but if he wins it, it could be the platform he requires to propel him into the larger fights he's aiming for.

Interesting I will do some digging Holms last fight was a little controversial she was ment to fight Melissa hernandez but hernandez pulled out, something about handwraps if i remember rightly hernandez was being made to move up from 130 to 147 for the fight!
Impressive stuff, very polished performance for only your 3rd fight. I was most impressed with your defense and you showed a nice array of punches working the body and the head, nice left hook, good uppercuts and straight right.I dont like to see young lads rushed too much but on that performance you could step up in class straight away.
This is what I got back from holms camp No such offer as been made. I have never even heard of her. Respectfully, Lenny Fresquez President
Couple of shots I took of Kieran Maher v Johnny Greaves tonight. Maher v Prunty for the Irish welterweight title in 2011!! This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
Good shots Leonardo. Did you position yourself at ringside or zoom in from the seats? What make and model of camera do you have? (I remember seeing it before but can't recall what it was).
I posted this in the Brit Forum: It was actually inspired by something that Tomas Rohan said in his recent interview in Boxing News - i.e. the problem of getting mainstream coverage for upcoming prospects and for the public to know their story etc.... "A UK version of The Contender or something along those lines would potentially be an interesting boxing reality show. What do you think? It would also help popularise boxing to the mainstream and even provide instant exposure to talent young boxing stars. Let's face it they are not getting enough exposure through the mainstream press and half the time we dont get to see the many of the undercard fights and miss out on the development of the upcoming fighters. So could a reality show that attracted a good range of upcoming talent be good TV and good for the game??? And who would you have on it? Fighters, promoters, trainers, presenters etc..."
Its a Nikon D40 and also got a Panasonic Lumix ZSI. I was ringside and zoomed but my zoom is shÃte cause its a work camera so a special wide angle lense. I still havent cracked it and dont really know what I am doing so its trial and error. But I went ringside for the Maher fight because most of the pros had gone cos it was after midnight.
