    What ever happened to him?

really impressed me in the prizefighter tournament he won and generally looked a decent prospect, but Boxrec told me he aint fought since 2011 where he beat the durable Journeyman, Friday Ahunanya

Hearn said he is fighting on Froch undercard but it has gone very quiet since he said it.

I am shocked at Hearns not signing him up after Prizefighter. He would of been there heavyweight to get into the mix with Fury and Price. So I think now Price is staying with Maloney they may well try and get Perez more active.

It's a strange one alright. At the time he was thought far, far higher than all of Fury, Chisora and Price but his career has gone nowhere.

Seems strange that. It's terrible management if you can't get your fighter regular fights. Perez would do well to stay active, and fight the usual HW journeymen (which he seemed to be doing in 2011), and develop a reputation and slowly work his way up. I highly doubt that journeymen who get paid to give your boy rounds would be hard to get in the ring.

Something else has to be the reason. Keeping injuries underwraps? Declining motivation now that he has left Cuba? It wouldn't be the first time we have seen that...

Does seem like he has totally vanished. He looked very good winning prize fighter,I thought we would be seeing a lot of him.
