Irish Joe McCreedy won on pts against Chris Traietti. Traietti actually came to the fight with an undefeated 7-0 record. So that's a great result for McCreedy. UP THE IRISH

boxing fan, I haven't seen him fight, but he sure sounds exciting. Mike a regular poster on this site also speaks highly of McCreedy, and it would be good to see him on the contender.
Mike told myself about McCreedy on the Irish boxing thread.Mike is from Boston. Are you Irish or Irish-American?
i was at his last fight he didnt look impressive and the fight before that he was knocked out by a guy who is 6-6-2
wow grimreaper sounds like u jelious hahha cuz eveyone who i askd said mccreedy and tritteia was the fight of the night and mccreedy fought a good fight have no clue what fight u were watching sooo go get some glasses
By all accounts, McCreedy's last fight was a good performance considering he defeated an undefeated fighter. McCreedy is only 22 so he is still young and learning his trade, if he can keep focused and dedicated, then anything is possibile. Boxing fan what part of Ireland are you from, I'm from Belfast. Do you follow anyother Irish or Irish-American fighters.
Joey got the job done against Traeitti. The Rivera's are doing a nice job of getting him into shape and turning him from a straight ahead slugger to someone who can move his hands more on the inside and not always look for one big shot. I made Joey's pro debut against Huston Crayton. He was so f - in strong in that fight. The kicker was, though, that if Crayton could have made it through the first round - Joey looked gassed. Totally punched himself out trying to get the first round KO. I thought, in all honesty, that Chris would outbox Joey in this fight and when they announced it as a six rounder - I was dead on certain that's how the fight would go down. Joey is still really strong and maybe gets a little too wide with his punches. But when he hit Chris to the body ... it was hurting Traeitti real bad. People say that Traeitti fought the wrong fight but I think it was the power of McCreedy, especially early on that forced Chris back to the ropes for much of the fight. Stoney is always willing to put his guys into fights. Most thought that this was too much of a step up for Joey right now ... we were wrong. Great job by the Rivera's and Stoney for getting him ready for the fight and a terrific job by McCreedy for getting the job done.
