Mayorga's chin got destroyed when he went against Trinidad. Before then, it was superb. Trinidad had the kind of power that destroys a punch resistance, Vargas had a average jaw before he faced trinidad, never been down before and got hit plenty. But After trinidad his jaw was glass. Mayorga the same, he laughed at Forrest uppercut and right hands, which made Mosley get knocked down 3 times in one punch LOL. But then he faced trinidad... and absorbed all those shots and his chin has been average ever sense, in the Hoya fight his chin didn't have time to recover, and was really weak LOL.

Once they crack, they don't come back... most of the time. The only fighter whom this rule didn't seem to apply to in the history of boxing has to be Roberto Duran. The guy was brutally KO'd by Hearns, but still had a Iron jaw.
