No, Margarito does not and did not have an Iron Chin. Iron Chinned Warriors do not get knocked out by a shot Shane Mosley. His Chin was very good but it was never Iron like his nuthuggers made it out to be. Chuvalo, however, was an Iron Chinned Warrior. He was stopped but ALWAYS on his feet and after brutal beatings in which he looked like he was about to be killed. Anybody who faces the punchers he did and does not go down is a Granite Jawed Hero of Boxing.

Chuvalo was never off his feet idiot. Margarito got ragdolled by Mosley. Good Chin but not Iron. Sorry. Iron Chinned fighters don't get brutally and embarrassingly KOed like Margarito did. :hi:

A shot-to-**** Shane Mosley is a far different animal than any incarnation of SRR. The left hook that flattened Fullmer is the rare punch that I do think had a chance of "KOing anybody".

LaMotta has plenty of stoppage losses for a guy considered by many to have the greatest chin ever.

Even a no-name schmo like Billy Fox wiped him out in double-quick time :shock:

 

He was dropped once in his whole career. The Fox fight was a mafia fix that LaMotta took part in because had he chosen to actually fight he would have never gotten a title fight. After that you have the St. Valentine's Day Massacre in which SRR was blasting him with 20 punch combinations and more that could not knock him down thus forcing the ref to make a mercy stoppage, and two corner stoppages when he was ancient and past his prime. He was never properly KOed and dropped once. You know nothing about Chins if you do not realize that this makes him an Iron Chinned Warrior.

 

Sounds awesome. They should really make a film about that ****...

 

Indeed. Maybe they'll make him look less of a scumbag than he really was, and have a great director and a great actor in the lead.

And have a really profane co-star.
