Julio Cesar Chavez was never stopped because of his chin.

    Neither was Chris Eubank :deal

Haven't read all the posts but Benny Briscoe's swoon against Valdez was shocking to say the least.
We were watching it live on Wide World of Sports and couldn't believe it!

Paolino Uzcudun was a bull of a man much like the later George Chuvalo, who was never dropped or stopped in his career. An iron chin, atop a tank-like body. Then in 1935,the 36 year old past his prime Uzcudun was matched with the great power pounching sensation
Joe Louis who just ko'd Max Baer..In the 4th round Louis landed a laser right hand to Uzcuduns chin knocking out Paolino's mouthpiece and front teeth, and Uzcudun was stopped for the only time in his career...Louis said it was the hardest punch he ever landed, but Uzcudun was up just past the 10 count...No fighter in history survives the right cross of Louis that night in 1935...
