Rocky Marciano was a furious fighter who wouldn't back down for anything, despite suffering from a few flash KDs he still had a very strong chin. He would always attempt to walk his opponents down, because he could! He could take anything they threw at him and stay upright, you should then think that he was a very crude fighter, but he had a pretty nice skillset. Combined with endless stamina and legendary punch power. Marciano was never going to quit, NEVER! No matter what the situation was, he believed that he could find a way to win, probably one of the best clutch hitters the sport has seen. Watch his fights against Charles and Walcott if you want prove of his iron chin and heart :hey Iron chinned and hearted gentlemen :deal This content is protected This content is protected [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQEL5sd2aOo"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQEL5sd2aOo[/ame] Rocky Marciano we salute you :bbb
While I do think people overrate hin in h2h match ups and as to how high he is ranked he still was an awesome great fighter with a killer mentality, I have a lot of respect for him.
Well, it can be debated, depends on how you rate him lol.. But you can't take away the fact that he was one of the great warriors the sport has seen :deal
A truly great fighter, I have no doubt he would be a monster Light Heavy or Cruiserweight in any era really.
He would have been a monster @Cruiser. I also think that he will have a good chance against some HWs in history
Good thread...especially for a chinchecker.:thumbsup He had the heart of a lion and iron chin and is criminally underrated on this board.
David Haye would have taken him at Crusierweight Hmm that is agood thread actaully David Haye vs Rocky at CW somebody make this
