Yeah, in my opinion the Tarver fights changed his mind about all of that. Having a loss can change plans.

because these are opinions, and no thats not really interesting that you've made that mistake at all. Becasue you've always made that mistake since the dawn of ESB.

Whats remotely interesting, is that you have always chastising loudon who you claimed used HIS opinions as facts, when its YOU doing it.

It isn't a fact to say that he chased Roy.

It isn't a fact to say that he has the best SMW resume ever.

It isn't a fact to say that he's the greatest SMW ever.

    I always allow for circumstances.

I have only ever posted what a fighters thoughts were, when I've relayed what they had said in interviews. Also, I can always produce the links if needed.

I was going through some links a few days ago and I came across one that immediately made me think of you. I found it extremely interesting and I would absolutely love to read your thoughts on it. You've probably seen it before, although we've never discussed it.

It's Joe's opinion on equalling Eubank's number of title defences:

What do you think? I think that was a bit harsh and I know how highly you rate Eubank and his resume. And the most interesting part of this, is that this was just prior to his fight Kabary Salem in 2004. So he obviously hadn't fought Lacy and Kessler at that point.

It would make for a great debate. So compare Joe's resume from Eubank-Salem, to Eubank's SMW resume.

I'm not twisting things, I'm just looking logically at the theory that he Roy ducked Nunn because he feared losing to him. That's what a lot of people think. And that's fair enough. But in my honest opinion, that theory doesn't hold much water when I consider who Roy went on to fight afterwards. Of course when he was in his prime, Nunn was superior to Harding. But in 1997 he was faded. We know that he'd lost to Steve Little 3 years earlier. Again, I'm just looking at the other southpaws who Roy went on to fight afterwards.

Although he was faded, Reggie Johnson was still a good fighter in 1999. And Harding and Tarver were good fighters, and then obviously there was Joe.

I have to ask the following questions:

Would a guy who feared a faded Michael Nunn, have gone on to fight: Reggie Johnson, Eric Harding, Antonio Tarver, Joe Calzaghe and Denis Lebedev?

Would a guy who feared a faded Michael Nunn, tried to have fought Frankie Liles the previous year?

    It was a joke.

Anybody who was in Dariusz' position could have sent a letter to a magazine.

    It didn't mean anything.

theres more lies there than that -

people werent fighting calzaghe leftovers. Once froch had reached world level he only fought one calzaghe opponent, finding the rest of joes weakling opposition way not worthy of world level fights. And that one opponent he shared with joe at world level, he fought uninjured twice, not like the injured one joe faced and then ran away from when he got better.

"won world titles away" is also a lie - joe didnt win a title away ever - as if he ever would when he never had a world level fight away from home, or barely 2 or 3 world level fights at home.
In reality he fought for a ring magazine award.

so the vast majority of what failey calls there facts are lies and opinions.

I have only browsed this but facing Lebedev and Calzaghe, Jones had it all to gain and not to lose and that does make a difference to when taking fights in my opinion. Think about it
