    Whether Dawson wanted the weight or not, it hurts Ward's win. Dawson was complete garbage at 168 and if he ever fights there again, he'll get slaughtered.

    Worst decision he'll ever make.

    Completely ruined what could have been a decent fight, any top 10 SMW would have destroyed Dawson that night

    Damn......maybe chad was drained. Good win for Ward anyway but this definitely takes away from the win in my eyes.

    You could say it puts a bit of perspective on Ward's win but he was still superb.
    But it's still an interesting read.Won't be surprised if Scully and Chad go their separate ways again.

    Some folks managed to call it early and warned others about how negatively any possible Ward victory would be looked at due to the weight drain.

    Had to wait until the fight itself to see how Dawson looked, and he was terrible. Do you rate the win much Arcane? I don't. If Ward wants full credit he should move up to 175 and win Chad's titles there

    Even though Dawson was brittle as petrified horse **** I was impressed by Ward's inside skills and his speed but the win is no doubt overblown.
