If you're going to consider that Cotto was past his best in 2009 which he really wasn't, then you must consider that Hamed may have been over the hill against Barrera. In both instances I believe they were close to their best.

Pacquiao lost 7-5 against Morales. Let's remember that in the second fight against Morales, Barrera was probably outboxed even worse than Pacquiao was.

Pacquiao defeated Marquez in the 2nd fight. It's no robbery it's a close controversial fight. You can choose to live in an alternative world, but the card is the card.

I believe Barrera is the most skilled technically of the entire era. More so than anybody that era. But Pacquiao didn't care. His power, speed and stamina were too much.

Pacquiao's destruction of Barrera is hands down the best win of that decade. And probably the best victory since at least Jones-Toney if not even Hagler-Hearns.

Is this trolling? It's absurd to have pac in the third tier below Marquez.

I don't know how you can say Barrera over Hamed was a greater performance than Pacquiao over Barrera.

We both consider Barrera to be a greater fighter than Hamed. Pacquiao was more dominant against Barrera than Barrera had been against Hamed.

Barrera was more skilled than Pacquiao. But it didn't matter. Pac said you see this left hand. I'm going to take this thing and whack you upside the head so ****ing hard that you won't be able to see straight. And I'm going to be cranking that thing so often that your brother will enter the ring in tears to rescue you from more pain.

Young fighters come back from beatdowns regularly like Cotto did. It's those late career or sometimes mid career beatdowns that ruin a fighter.

Fact is Barrera's better than Hamed was. In retrospect, it's clear Barrera>>>>>Hamed.

Then Pacquiao wins 10 of 11 rounds and by the way Barrera stepped on his foot causing Pacquiao to go down. You're really grasping at straws when you bring up the KD.

Barrera's brother jumped into the ring in tears. That's how badly the beatdown was. You can't justify that than anything other than a demoslishing. Yes, Barrera more skilled. But Pac said you see this left I'm just going to whack you upside the head until I come close to killing you. Go ahead get back up, I'm just going to use this left and beat the living pis out of you. Cue Barrera's brother jumping into the ring full of tears.

Marquez owned Pac, and was robbed in the 2nd and 3rd fights. But since their 2nd fight, outside of the fights between them do you really think Marquez's resume compares to Pac's? Marquez lost to Bradley while Pac beat Bradley twice. Pac at least won two rounds against Floyd, while Marquez was shutout. Pac beat Oscar, Hatton, Cotto, Marquez beat Casamayor, Diaz, Katsidis.
