What say you? For me, it absolutely is. Not only does it thin divisions out, but it is a major contributor in big fights being missed. An example of the latter being Inoue's potential move northward to 118, by-passing a loaded division. If 115 didn't exist, this wouldn't be an issue, as all of these men would competing alongside one another.
Yes, and you're right, some of the smaller divisions should be combined. They have far less fighters combined than any division from welterweight to LHW.
I agree in a sense but not fully. I don't think you can combine fly and bantam together because it would be unfair for those little guys. 2-3 kg made a big difference with them. I think however, light fly, minimum and light minimum can be merged into 1.
Thanks mr Peruvian lol. A lot of Asian fighters reside between fly and bantam. I don't know much about minimum weight and below 47kg. Even my tiny wife weigh more than that lol.
