Is 22 wins 27 k.os a good record for amateur?

    How many bouts you had mate? and yes it's a mint record, especially if he's been in the championships. How many you had mate?

    Ive only got one advice to u. focus on yourself and not your oponent. how many kos /wins doesent mean nothing in boxing. god luck!

    Amateur boxer who doesnt know 22 KO's from 27 is a good record ? :huh

    Yeah, just follow the advice posted earlier. Focus on you opponent, in the ring, record won't mean ****.

    However, to answer your question, if the guy you're facing has medaled on a few tournaments already, you're screwed.

    The guy could possibly be 28 (23)-4 after Saturday.

    That's a good record for an amateur but it's the ko's that is impressive.

    I was 56 wins and 13 losses as amateur with only 14 stoppage wins but a, pro i stopped 9 of my 14 wins.hard to knock guys out with a, heard guard

    sorry for late reply I was busy working but I have had 17 fights so far and I've got 1 decision loss. With 5 stoppages all from body shots. But my body punching is my only chance of stoppage because I'm not a big puncher. Well my trainer says I've got good pop to my punches, but on fight night I never feel that power in my punches. Apparently a lot of the other guy's stoppages have been much too early and he's not a good boxer. My trainer thinks it'll be an easy night for me if I just box, but I dunno really.
