i'm a Floyd fan but he spends alot of time mentioning the 42-0 which isn't the main fact, being a world champion for 16 years straight in 5 different weight classes makes him the fighter who he is not 42-0 even chavez is 45-0 what does that mean? nothing.

No because he doesn't fight the best! For example JCC Jr. is 45-0.. Is he the best?

Floyd mentions everything you listed. When he says 42-0 he expects he is talking to a boxing fan who knows what he has done in his career to get that total.

Yes, it is a big deal....to Floyd. I'm a fan of Floyd's boxing style, I like what he is able to do in the ring and throughout his career. But since he has went away from the "Pretty Boy" to the "Money" moniker, that 0 is a huge weight that hangs around his neck and his ego. Meaning, if he were ever to lose, he would probably be on suicide watch, since it was him that said the only place he feels "at home" is in the ring. So if he was beaten in the ring, the people that pay the PPVs that hate Mayweather would be going crazy, he would be ripped apart on the internet, destroyed in the media, Mike Wilbon would be jacking off on PTI and still bashing Floyd, etc. Not having the 0 means he's no longer perfect and that would hurt him mentally and personally.

No. Most undefeated records are extremely padded with a select few ducks along the way, Floyd really shouldn't be touting it any more than the other things you mentioned. That being said he does have an impressive resume.

Sven Ottke retired undefeated. Until Floyd does that, he's nowhere near Sven's level.

    Same with Slappy Joe. 46-0 > 42-0

    This 2x.

Not to mention once he is beat, the PPV numbers for his fights will drop off dramatically. Most tune in to see him loose. Once he does, no one will care to watch him again.

Once he looses, I won't be surprised if he fades out very very quietly.
